In short, MGP began development of its covers in response to the
situation which often occurs when restylers install large aftermarket wheels
which revealed the area behind the wheel. Although these wheels are
aesthetically pleasing they do expose the brake
caliper which tarnished the look of the wheels and rims. And, in a stroke of
brilliance, MGP Caliper Covers were born! Two features that you won't find on
cheaper, plastic caliper covers are that they are removable for service and that
they actually reduce caliper heat which could lengthen the life of your brakes!
BUt, if they're not made of plastic what are they made of? You will be happy to
know that they are made of aerospace grade aluminum. and are hydraulically
formed to fit OEM brake calipers. Finishing touches which

The 1999 VW Jetta - Update a Classic for Under $50
