The 2003 Chevy Silverado - A Union of Pleasure and Practicality

The 2003 Silverado was GM's gift to Chevy truck lovers everywhere when it was released with more than 40 upgrades to the interior and exterior. Many of the changes aren't visible to the naked eye but those that afford the Silverado with an ease-of-use and sophistication not commonly found in a pick-up. There are a host of performance and drive quality changes as well but since we're a tint and auto accessories blog we'll stick to what we know. The 2003 Silverado's interior sports an all-new layout for the audio and climate controls and, for the later, is available in both digital and analog versions. Additions such as the heated seats, optional Bose stereo and satellite radio and other options make the Silverado both practical and pleasurable. In fact, I know of one owner who claims he could spend up to 10 hours in the the bucket seats of his Silverado and although I wouldn't want to spend 10 hours sitting anywhere I get the point. So, whether you want to use the Silverado as your work horse, to commute to work or as even as your family's mini-van (don't forget about the dual climate controls) you won't be disappointed. As you will see from Justin's photo submissions I wasn't lying when I described the well-appointed layout of the truck's cabin. One thing that really comes across well in the pictures is the roominess of the interior and you can easily tell that ergonomics were at the fore-front of the dash design. Luckily for uis GM chose not to add too many stylistic elements to the interior which make it perfect for an aftermarket vinyl dash kit in whatever color or finish your heart desires. Justin chose the 3D black carbon fiber and, as you can see, he both chose and installed it well. Thanks Justin!
